International Schools Consortium

International Schools Consortium (iSC) is a nonprofit organization that, since 1986, has offered excellent academic programs to meet the intellectual, physical, and emotional needs of students. iSC has six schools in China — in Chengdu, Qingdao, Wuhan, Wuxi, Tianjin, and Yantai — one school in the UAE, and helps to support various other educational initiatives globally. iSC is a multi-school program, enabling students and teachers to participate in system-wide programs where they can interact with others outside of their immediate school. Students compete in basketball, volleyball and soccer tournaments, as well as music and choral festivals, and Model United Nations (MUN) conventions.

Bruce Li

My name is Bruce and my hometown is Yibin in Sichuan. I got married in 2015 and my wife and I were blessed with a baby boy the following year. I’ve worked at CDIS in various positions, and I am here because I love the community. At CDIS, staff build close friendships and also there are very rich learning opportunities both for students and teachers. I started working in Secondary in 2015 and mainly help with classes when subject teachers are off campus for some reason. Personal experience, as well as great stories about learning, has convinced me that teachers can play a crucial role in a student’s developmental stages. That’s why I want to be a good teacher. I believe education should empower a student with understanding and skills for the age they live in, and I believe at CDIS every teacher is working hard to make that happen. I’m excited to see your children display their talents and brilliance and I look forward to it each school year.
