I grew up in upstate New York in the United States, and I am the oldest of six children. After my undergraduate experience, I spent my first three years of teaching at Kunming International Academy in Kunming, China. When I returned to my home state of New York, I taught English as a Second Language to Elementary students while earning a master’s degree in special education. I am certified by the State of New York to teach Childhood Education (Grades 1 through 6) and Special Education (Grades 1 through 6). My first year at CDIS was the 2013-2014 school year.
