We care about your child's health. Please be reminded that children should stay home from school for at least 24 hours after they have vomited from sickness, had diarrhea (3 or more water stools in 24 hours), or a fever of 37.3°C/99.1°F or greater. A child may not return to school until 24 hours free of fever without fever reducing medication. This is for the health and well-being of all our students. Thank you for your cooperation!
Dear secondary parents,
To keep health and safety a priority at CDIS, we will be delaying our parent workshop “Preparing for University” originally scheduled on Jan. 12th , 2021. We are hoping to host this workshop after our Chinese New Year break and will send you more information later in February. Thank you for your understanding!
Green Health QR Code Submission:
Until further notice, students should submit the green QR Health Code weekly each Sunday. Parents’ QR Codes for students without a code can also be submitted. ECC and Elementary codes should be submitted to Juno Deng at email@example.com; Secondary codes should be submitted to Linda Yang at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Visitors and Parents on Campus:
We continue to put your child’s health and safety as a priority at CDIS! During the time between our Christmas Break and Chinese New Year Break (January 4th through February 5th), we are unable to host group gatherings of visitors or parents on campus. Unfortunately PTO Social Clubs, including Panda Playgroup, will not be able to meet on campus during this time, and we will be unable to invite parents to special events like our annual Chinese Culture Day. Video recordings of the performances will be available as an alternative.
If you have a pressing reason to visit campus during this time, please make an appointment in advance and be prepared to show your green QR Health code, have your temperature taken, and sign in indicating your recent locations before being allowed on the campus.
