STEAM Week Sparks Creativity and Innovation

STEAM Week at Chengdu International School was a week full of special STEAM activities for all ECC to high school students. Our STEAM team collaborated to create unique learning methods for our students to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, art, and math for all ECC to high school students. Class lessons were planned to engage students in hands-on STEAM activities tailored to each grade level, fostering design thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.

STEAM is an integral part of the learning experience for all ages. It encompasses not only classroom instruction but also how students absorb information, process it, and tackle problems. Our goal is to prepare students to address real-world challenges that are complex and multi-faceted.

Students learned to bring knowledge from different fields together to solve these real-world problems collaboratively and creatively. STEAM aims to develop well-rounded individuals with the 4Cs of Communication, Collaboration, Critical thinking, and Creativity, which are essential for class and success in our world!
