Dear CDIS Parents:
Here are a few things you’ll need to note for the upcoming holiday:
For anyone that travels outside the Sichuan province, you will be required to get a Covid test no more than 48 hours before your return to school. You will need to have this test after 8:00 a.m. February 11th, and the results sent to Linda Yang (Secondary) or Juno Deng (Elementary) before 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 13th .
- Beginning Saturday, January 29th, you will be asked to check your temperature daily, and take well care of your own health.
- On Wednesday, February 9th, you will receive a text/WeChat from the school with a link to a survey that must be completed before 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 10th. On this survey you will need to answer basic questions about your travel over the break, your temperature over the break, and any symptoms. You will also certify on this form that if you’ve traveled outside the Sichuan province that you will be taking and submitting a covid test, dated within 48 hours of the return to school.
Sunday, February 13th, you will need to resume sending your nightly green health code to Linda Yang (secondary) or Juno Deng (elementary). You do not have to send the code during the break. Monday, February 14th, we will continue with checking codes each morning of all students.
🧧Have a safe and happy Chinese New Year!🧧
If you have placed a uniform order but have not received the uniform after three working days, please let us know by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or calling us at (028) 6517 5228.
Elementary students (grades K-5) will be taking their Winter MAP assessments from January 10-21st. MAP growth assessments help us identify how each of our students are growing academically. In order for the elementary students to do their best on these assessments, please make sure they get good sleep each night and breakfast each morning before coming to school. The assessment reports for each child will be available on PowerSchool at the end of the month.
