CDIS Calendar Change
-
Dear CDIS Families,
Earlier this year CDIS published a calendar with November 9th as a student holiday due to our annual teacher conference. At this time, we will be delaying our annual teacher conference until the spring. As a result, November 9th will now be a full day of school. If your family has already made plans for this date to be out of town, please let the school know. We will consider any previously made plans as an excused absence for your child.
The teacher conference has been moved to April 6th, which will now become a student holiday in addition to the Spring Break weekend already announced.
Please note this calendar change:
- November 9th—Full day of school for students and teachers
- April 2nd-April 5th—Spring Break Weekend (no change)
- April 6th—Student Holiday for Annual Teacher Conference
- As we continue to await the return of many of our families and teachers, and also keep health and safety a priority at CDIS, we will be delaying our StuCo. Fall Festival event originally scheduled for the end of October. At this time, we have plans to combine some of the fun of StuCo. Fall Festival with our annual International Day in the spring. We are hopeful that by this time many of our families will have return to Chengdu and that we will be able to better enjoy large group gatherings with outside vendors. Thank you for your understanding and patience at this time!
